Peotone is a perfect 10-0 against Lisle since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Lions at 4:30 p.m. Peotone's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four contests, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Peotone's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over Watseka. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Devils as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Watseka's batters probably weren't too happy with Sophie Klawitter, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 18 Ks (she gave up zero walks). Klawitter has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mary Klawitter, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Lisle earned a 10-7 victory over Aurora Christian on Saturday.
Megan Bradley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bradley was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
Bradley wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Emily Bieniasz, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Bieniasz has posted since back in May of 2025. Jaya Claussen was another, earning two RBI and one run.
Lisle's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Peotone, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
Everything went Peotone's way against Lisle in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Peotone made off with a 7-0 win. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
