Softball Recap: Carolina Forest Has No Trouble Against Myrtle Beach

Carolina Forest won the last time they faced Myrtle Beach and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Seahawks with a sharp 19-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Carolina Forest got a massive performance out of Natalie Nesheiwat, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, Nesheiwat posted three RBI, the most she's had over her last 11 contests. Kylee Warehime was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Nesheiwat wasn't the only one making solid contact: Carolina Forest kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.

Carolina Forest's record is now 13-8-1. As for Myrtle Beach, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
