Baseball Recap: Wabasso Comes Up Short

Wabasso lost against St. Mary last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rabbits fell just short of the Knights by a score of 5-4. The Rabbits just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Wabasso's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for St. Mary's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Wabasso will be playing at home against Springfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Rabbits' hitters will have their work cut out for them. St. Mary's has already played their next match (against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
