Soccer Recap: Valor Christian Comes Up Short

Valor Christian lost against Ralston Valley last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, Valor Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Ralston Valley are ranked first).

Valor Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-3 record this season. As for Ralston Valley, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valor Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbine at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ralston Valley will take on rival Arvada West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
