After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Loyola College Prep finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to the Minden Crimson Tide. The Flyers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Loyola College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Minden, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-11-1.

Loyola College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Caddo Magnet on the 19th. As for Minden, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 23-1 loss against North DeSoto on the 19th.
