Basketball Recap: Marquette University Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Marquette University was the 66-49 winner over Brookfield East when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Marquette University Hilltoppers took a 76-61 bruising from the Brookfield East Spartans on Tuesday.

Marquette University's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for Brookfield East, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

When Marquette University and Brookfield East next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Marquette University will try to stop Germantown's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Brookfield East will face off against Brookfield Central and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
