Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Aiken

Aiken had won three straight games and Malasia Jamison did her part to make it four on Friday. The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets skirted past the Strom Thurmond Rebels 41-38 thanks in part to Jamison, who went 10 of 19 on her way to 26 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January.

Aiken's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Strom Thurmond, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Aiken will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Augusta at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Strom Thurmond also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Mid-Carolina at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
