Football Recap: Gabe Borisch's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Southridge over Kamiakin

Southridge lost against Kamiakin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Suns lost 28-7 to the Braves. The contest marked the Suns' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Southridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gabe Borisch, who rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown. Tayton Jackman helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Southridge and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Kamiakin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Southridge has already played their next game, a 48-27 victory against Hermiston on the 16th. As for Kamiakin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-14 win against Pasco on the 16th.
