Baseball Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster suffered their closest defeat since February 23, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the South Oak Cliff Bears by a score of 6-4. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Anthony Jimenez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Kirk, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lancaster fell to 2-1. As for South Oak Cliff, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lancaster will square off against DeSoto at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Oak Cliff, they will challenge Bishop Dunne at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. South Oak Cliff is facing Bishop Dunne at the right time seeing as Bishop Dunne is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
