The Gallatin Green Wave are taking a road trip to take on the Summit Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gallatin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Gallatin barely beat Green Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Green Wave blew past the Hawks 4-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Gallatin in their matchups with Green Hill: they've now won six in a row.

Gallatin hit Green Hill with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Skylar High, Ava Montgomery, Sawyer Cooper, and Kate Thomas.

Meanwhile, Summit faced Page in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Spartans won by a goal and slipped past the Patriots 3-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Summit were the better team in the second half.

Gallatin's win bumped their record up to 6-2-3. As for Summit, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Gallatin beat Summit by a goal in their previous meeting back in August of 2020, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
