Volleyball Recap: Manning Comes Up Short

Manning came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lake City Panthers, falling 3-0. The Monarchs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-21.

Manning now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lake City, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Manning is set to take on their familiar foe East Clarendon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake City will face off against rival Mullins at 6:00 p.m. on October 2.
