Leonardtown came tearing into Friday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 39-29 victory over the Northern Patriots. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Leonardtown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gretchen Fleck, who posted eight points and seven rebounds. Abbey Robrecht was another key player, putting up ten points and seven boards.

Leonardtown was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northern only racked up three assists.

Leonardtown pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Northern, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Coming up, Leonardtown will face off against Great Mills at 6:30 p.m. on February 14th. Leonardtown's defense has only allowed 24.5 points per game this season, so Great Mills' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Northern, they will take on McDonough at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
