Basketball Recap: Pymatuning Valley Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Pymatuning Valley finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Geneva Eagles and fell 65-29. The match marked the Lakers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pymatuning Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Geneva, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Pymatuning Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lakeside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Pymatuning Valley likes a good challenge. As for Geneva, they will host Benedictine at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
