Softball Recap: Yonkers Bulldogs vs. Byram Hills Bobcats

Yonkers can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Byram Hills Bobcats a 12-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Yonkers sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Erisa Gashi made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Gashi has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Gashi was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Yonkers got a big performance out of ShyAnn Wright, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
