Football Recap: Odyssey Institute Extends Winning Streak to Three

After only 13 points in their last matchup, Odyssey Institute made sure to put some points up on the board against Arete Prep on Friday. The Minotaur took down the CHARGERS 35-20. The win was just business as usual for the Minotaur, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Jace Collins had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 210 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Another big playmaker for Odyssey Institute was Isaiah Johnson, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Odyssey Institute was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 304 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Odyssey Institute's record now sits at 3-0. As for Arete Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Odyssey Institute will take on Benjamin Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arete Prep, they will challenge Red Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
