Soccer Recap: Forge Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against The Academy last Thursday, Forge Christian came back down to earth. The Fury fell just short of the Peak to Peak Pumas by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Forge Christian haven't had much luck with Peak to Peak recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Forge Christian's goal came courtesy of Emily Gilbert, which was the first she's scored this season.

Forge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Peak to Peak, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Forge Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Kent Denver on the 17th. As for Peak to Peak, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Denver Christian on the 17th.
