Basketball Recap: Thurston Gets the Win

After losing to West Albany the last time they met, Thurston decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Thurston Colts walked away with a 70-59 win over the West Albany Bulldogs on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Thurston's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for West Albany, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thurston will host Ridgeview at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for West Albany, they will welcome Oregon City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
