Preview: Lena/Aquinas vs. Gibraltar
Gibraltar will challenge Lena/Aquinas on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close game.
Gibraltar were fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Menominee Indian 60-0. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-0.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Lena/Aquinas lost to Gillett, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-38.
Gibraltar's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Lena/Aquinas's loss dropped them down to 1-2. In their win, Gibraltar relied heavily on senior Trevor Reinhardt, who passed for 256 yards and 5 touchdowns; a key strategy for Lena/Aquinas will lie in finding a way to minimize his impact.
