On Monday, Union Grove Christian strolled past the Conquerors with points to spare, taking the game 56-40.
Union Grove Christian found their leader in underclassman Taylor Hanes, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Hanes is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Klaira Cromer, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Burlington Christian Academy has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They enjoyed a cozy 38-21 win over Statesville Christian on Tuesday. 38 seems to be a good number for Burlington Christian Academy as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Union Grove Christian's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14. As for Burlington Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
