Baseball Recap: Page Takes a Loss

Page lost against Aztec back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Page fell just short of Aztec by a score of 5-3. The Sand Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Page saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Yazzie, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Aztec, their record is now 5-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Page will host Chinle at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Page's pitchers better be ready for this one: Chinle has averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Aztec, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Aztec Tigers face off against Bloomfield Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be their first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
