Baseball Game Preview: Archbishop Williams Bishops vs. Bishop Feehan Shamrocks

Archbishop Williams is 2-7 against Bishop Feehan since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bishops will head out to face off against the Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Archbishop Williams fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Bristol-Plymouth RVT on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Craftsmen by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bishops have suffered since May 25, 2024.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Bishop Feehan and Attleboro, and Attleboro kept the tradition alive. The Shamrocks took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bombardiers on Friday. The Shamrocks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Andrew Hosford was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Colin McEwan was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Bishop Feehan's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Archbishop Williams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
