Baseball Recap: Raymond Central Comes Up Short

Raymond Central scored first but ultimately less than Louisville in their game on Thursday. They lost 16-2 to the Lions. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Dawson Potter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. Mackson Smith was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases.

Raymond Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Louisville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Raymond Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Louisville will challenge rival Plattsmouth on Saturday.
