It's playoff time, and Quincy Notre Dame had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bradi Lahr made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI.

In other batting news, Rowan Stegeman was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Logan Woodyard was another key player, earning four stolen bases.

Quincy Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-10-2.

Looking ahead, Quincy Notre Dame will face off against Sacred Heart-Griffin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cyclones' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
