Todd County is a perfect 10-0 against Bennett County since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Todd County Falcons will welcome the Bennett County Warriors at 5:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Todd County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 66-53 victory over Lakota Tech.

Todd County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ciante Black Spotted Horse led the charge by going 6 for 11 to rack up 18 points and six boards. What's more, Black Spotted Horse also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in February of 2024. Reuben Iron Horse was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bennett County). They came out on top against Hay Springs by a score of 76-67 on Saturday.

Todd County's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 8-7. As for Bennett County, their victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-10.

Todd County was able to grind out a solid win over Bennett County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 61-51. Will Todd County repeat their success, or does Bennett County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
