Soccer Recap: Simley Victorious

While Simley's victory against Rockford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans had just enough and edged out the Rockets 2-1 on Tuesday. Simley have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Rockford, too.

Simley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Rockford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Simley will face off against Minneapolis Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockford, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 win against Fridley on the 27th.
