Softball Recap: Windber Takes a Loss

Windber lost against Berlin Brothersvalley back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ramblers came up short against the Mountaineers, falling 7-1. The match marked the Ramblers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Windber's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Windber will square off against Fannett Metal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Windber is facing Fannett Metal at the right time seeing as Fannett Metal is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will take on Everett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Mountaineers surely won't give up without a fight.
