Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Jervis). They claimed a resounding 77-21 victory over Red Hook. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-14.

Dylan Fox produced another solid effort rushing for 120 yards and three TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 221 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes. Port Jervis' leading receiver Austin Mack was Fox's top target yet again, picking up 113 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 23 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Benjamin Rivera, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Port Jervis' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Red Hook, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Port Jervis will have a chance to go back-to-back against Red Hook: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
