Volleyball Recap: Arrupe Jesuit Takes a Loss

Arrupe Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Arrupe Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arrupe Jesuit will venture away from home to challenge Windsor Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they will face off against Gateway at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Olympians will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
