Softball Recap: Rison Takes a Loss

Rison fell victim to McGehee and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for McGehee, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Rison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McGehee, they will square off against Stuttgart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
