Basketball Recap: Bremond Beats Burton for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Bremond came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Burton Panthers as they made off with a 54-28 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 24 points or more this season.

Bremond got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan Morehead out in front who went 6 for 13 on his way to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. With that strong performance, Morehead is now averaging an impressive 2.3 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeramiah Morgan, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Bremond smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.

Bremond's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Burton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.
