Basketball Game Preview: Fort Campbell Falcons vs. Hopkinsville Tigers

Fort Campbell is 0-10 against Hopkinsville since December of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Fort Campbell Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hopkinsville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fort Campbell is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They took a blow against Christian County, falling 59-14. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hopkinsville was beaten by Henderson County 76-42 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Colonels are ranked tenth).

Hopkinsville has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Fort Campbell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Fort Campbell took a serious blow against Hopkinsville when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 52-10. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Fort Campbell was down 46-4.
