Howland extends road winning streak to three

Recap: Howland Tigers vs. Canfield Cardinals

Even though the Howland Tigers have not done well against the Canfield Cardinals recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Howland came out on top against Canfield by a score of 58-45. The win was nothing new for Howland as they're now sitting on three straight.

Alyssa Massucci was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jessie DeSalvo, who scored ten points.

Howland's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Canfield, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

Howland will take on Austintown-Fitch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Austintown-Fitch is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Canfield, they will head out on the road to take on Ursuline at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ursuline will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Canfield is ranked 71st).
