Baseball Recap: Monday's Win Is Seward's 12th in Last 15 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seward had no problem doing just that on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ralston Rams a 3-0 shutout.

Seward is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ralston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-8.

Looking ahead, Seward will face off against Bennington at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Badgers will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Bluejays surely won't give up without a fight. Ralston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
