Basketball Recap: Grace and Glory Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Harvest Christian two weeks ago, Grace and Glory Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles were dealt a 73-39 defeat at the hands of the Wiregrass Kings on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 95-40 back in November.

Aaron Kneiss and Brayden Walker certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Kneiss posted 18 points, while Walker scored 11 points.

Grace and Glory Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wiregrass, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Grace and Glory Christian will challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wiregrass, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 79-39 defeat against North Florida Christian on the 2nd.
