Baseball Preview: Hoover Tornados vs. Pasadena Bulldogs
Hoover is 1-9 against Pasadena since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tornados will host the Bulldogs at 3:45 p.m. Hoover will be strutting in after a victory while Pasadena will be coming in after a defeat.
Hoover is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Palmdale Academy Charter School 22-1 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Tornados as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.
Owen Marks was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Hoover got a massive performance out of Gabriel Flores, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
