Volleyball Recap: Dawson School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dawson School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Estes Park Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-10.

Bella Ward paced Dawson School's offense, picking up four kills. Ward got some help from Erin Ashby and her four assists. Ward was also a major player on defense: she and Claire Collins shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with four each.

Dawson School's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Estes Park, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Dawson School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against SkyView Academy on the 25th. As for Estes Park, they are taking a road trip to challenge Union Colony Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
