Baseball Recap: St. Benedict at Auburndale Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Benedict at Auburndale's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Christian Brothers Purple Wave on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Purple Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 last Monday.

St. Benedict at Auburndale has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Christian Brothers, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

St. Benedict at Auburndale will face off against Memphis University School at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Brothers, they will challenge Parkway South at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
