Softball Recap: Tigard Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lakeridge on Wednesday, Tigard came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the West Linn Lions by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Tigard's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for West Linn, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tigard will square off against Lake Oswego at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Lakers at the right time seeing as the Lakers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for West Linn, they will face off against Oregon City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
