Baseball Recap: Addison Trail Takes a Loss

Addison Trail lost against Downers Grove South back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blazers lost 14-2 to the Mustangs. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Trail saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric DeBeau, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Addison Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Downers Grove South, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

While Addison Trail had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
