Basketball Recap: Annandale Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Annandale, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Litchfield Dragons on Tuesday. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Dragons are ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Annandale has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Litchfield, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

Annandale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-47 loss against New London-Spicer on the 31st. Litchfield has also already played their next contest, an 81-46 defeat against Dassel-Cokato on the 31st.
