Softball Recap: Merrill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wausau East on Tuesday, Merrill came back down to earth. The Bluejays fell 6-1 to the D.C. Everest Evergreens on Wednesday. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Evergreens recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Merrill now has a losing record of 5-6. As for D.C. Everest, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Evergreens beat Merrill by a score of 6-1 on Thursday.
