Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Knox). They walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Mt. Gilead Indians on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

East Knox's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Mt. Gilead, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mt. Gilead has already played their next match (against Danville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Knox will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' game: after the Indians face off against the Blue Devils, they'll take on East Knox again at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
