Vicksburg got themselves on the board against Sturgis on Friday, but Sturgis never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 15-0 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 15 runs or more this season.

Vicksburg got a massive performance out of Emily Zemitans, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Chisholm, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Vicksburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sturgis only posted an OBP of .333.

The victory made it two in a row for Vicksburg and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Sturgis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
