Basketball Recap: Whitmer Gets the Win

Whitmer posted their closest victory since March 16, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Anthony Wayne Generals, sneaking past 73-70. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Generals, too.

Whitmer's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Anthony Wayne, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Whitmer Panthers face off against the Northview Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anthony Wayne, they will face off against Perrysburg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
