Basketball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against North Moore on Tuesday, Trinity came back down to earth. The Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 38-37 to the South Rowan Raiders. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Trinity saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madison Hill posted 17 points. That was a full 45.9% of the Bulldogs' points, marking the third time in a row Hill has had more than a third of the team's points.

Trinity now has a losing record of 2-3. As for South Rowan, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Trinity will head out to challenge Asheboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Rowan, they will be playing at home against East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
