Basketball Recap: Roanoke Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Roanoke Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-20 loss at the hands of the Blue Ridge Christian Bears. While losing is never fun, the EAGLES can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Bears are ranked 137th).

Roanoke Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Blue Ridge Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Roanoke Valley Christian will square off against Ridgeview Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Blue Ridge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
