Makayla Hopkins Game Report: @ Richmond

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Makayla Hopkins stepped things up a notch to give Northeastern the 'W'. Hopkins produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk).

Coming up, Hopkins and Northeastern will square off against Eastern Hancock at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights have some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
