Basketball Recap: Raymond Comes Up Short

Raymond came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 50-26 to the Belmont Red Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Raymond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Belmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Coming up, Raymond will be playing at home against Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Raymond is facing Campbell at the right time seeing as Campbell is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Belmont, they will head out on the road to take on Winnisquam at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
