Basketball Recap: Osborne Takes a Loss

Osborne was the 38-25 winner over Pebblebrook when they last played one another on January 9th, but their luck changed this time around. The Osborne Cardinals took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pebblebrook Falcons on Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why Osborne lost, don't look at Camielle Braswell. Despite the final result, she went 6 of 12 on her way to 24 points. That's the most points Braswell has posted since back in December of 2024. Mina Ly was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.

Osborne's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Pebblebrook, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15.

Osborne and Pebblebrook could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Osborne will challenge Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 241 places (306 vs. 65). Similarly, Pebblebrook (ranked 339th) will meet Campbell (ranked 17th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
