Baseball Recap: ABF Academy Has No Trouble Against Everglades

ABF Academy got themselves on the board against Everglades on Wednesday, but Everglades never followed suit. They blew past the Gators 12-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Not much got past Ariel Rivera, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Everglades off the board. Those 11 strikeouts gave Rivera a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Gian Luigi Ospina was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Angel Villegas was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

The victory got ABF Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Everglades, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-7.

ABF Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-1 loss against Sunset on the 20th. As for Everglades, they have also already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Fort Lauderdale on the 20th.
